Volkswagen doesn’t have much choice for this car other than accessories, so you’ll have to opt for a higher trim if you want ventilated front seats or wireless charging. However, all models get power-adjustable heated front seats and stainless steel pedal caps for a bit more comfort and style. With plenty of room and many standard features, the interior of the Volkswagen Arteon 2023 is a great place to drive long distances.
New Volkswagen Arteon 2023 : Interior Capacity
The New Interior 2023 Volkswagen Arteon officially has five seats, with front passengers benefiting from heat-adjustable seats as standard. Six feet will find plenty of headroom and legroom in this chair at 37.7 and 41.2 inches, respectively. However, unlike most other four-door coupes, rear passengers who have too much growth spurt will be able to sit comfortably too, thanks to 37 inches of headroom and 40.2 inches of legroom.

Getting in and out is fairly easy, although taller individuals may need to bend slightly when climbing on the back. We’d reserve the middle seat for the pre-teens if you’re going to put two adults back there, but even so, the cabin feels roomy.
On the 2023 Volkswagen Arteon Interior SEL model with a standard sunroof, headroom is 37.9 and 37.1 inches, respectively. As for the driving position, it is well chosen and feels good, thanks to the adjustable steering wheel. Overall, we have no flaws in this cabin, and updated design details such as the cabin air vents make it feel even more special than ever.

On the base model, you get V-Tex faux leather upholstery in two options: Titan and Moonrock or full Titan Black. Stepping up to the 2023 VW Arteon SEL R-Line gets you Nappa leather in Mistral Gray and Raven or Titan Black. The new VW Arteon SEL R-Line Premium gets the same color options, but the leather option here is perforated to accommodate the front passenger seat ventilation. A leather steering wheel and shift knob are standard on all models, but the New Volkswagen Arteon SEL twin gets a sportier steering wheel with contrast stitching, Silver Rise trim inserts, and a trim-only black headliner.

Thanks to that liftback design, the 2023 Volkswagen Arteon Interior is very spacious at the rear. The cargo area has a capacity of around 27.2 cubic feet, much more than what you get in the 2023 Kia Stinger Interior which has a capacity of 23.3 cubes or the 2023 Audi A5 Sportback which has 21.8 cubes. What’s more, the rear seats can be folded in a 60/40 split to create a massive 56.2 cubic feet of space.
Whichever configuration you choose, there’s plenty of room for four adults for a week-long vacation. Unfortunately, the convenient hands-free liftgate is only installed on the upper trim.

Inside the cabin, the VW Arteon 2023 Interior offers large door pockets, a sizable glove box and center armrest storage, as well as a place on the center console for your phone and another in front of the armrest with a pair of cupholders.

On the features front, the New 2023 Volkswagen Arteon Interior gets the same basic feature set across the range, with the higher trim progressively adding more standard equipment. In the base model, the 2023 Volkswagen Arteon SE is equipped with automatic LED headlights, power-folding heated mirrors, rain sensor wipers, tri-zone climate control, cruise control, power-adjustable and heated front seats and adaptive suspension. You also get start/stop technology, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, keyless entry with push-button start, and an eight-inch digital display driver.

Rearview cameras, forward collision detection with automatic emergency braking and a post-collision response system are also installed. On the New 2023 Volkswagen Arteon Interior tall model, you get access to features such as curve sensor LED headlights with automatic high beam headlights, adaptive LED headlights, configurable multicolor ambient lighting, remote start, panoramic sunroof, traffic sign recognition, lane assist fixed, parking sensors, park assistance, pedestrian detection, wireless charging, hands-free tailgate and surround-view camera.
Massage seats are also available for the driver, while the ventilated front seats and heated outboard rear seats can make this car truly luxurious.

The 2023 Volkswagen Arteon Interior offered last year’s infotainment system with a new eight-inch MIB3 Discover Media touchscreen and revised software, so you get access to wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with pre-existing features like Bluetooth connectivity, navigation, and wireless connectivity. In the new Generation of Volkswagen Arteon 2023, wireless device charging was added as standard. An HD radio and two USB-C ports are also included, as well as eight speakers.
